How to get the perfect brow: our ultimate eyebrow shaping guide

Your eyebrows are the frame for your face, and as such for better or worse, they can define the rest of your look. Gone are the days of tightly-plucked 90s eyebrows; now, it’s all about full, natural brows. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t help them along the way and tame them with these eyebrow shaping methods.

FAQs

What method is used for eyebrow tidy/shape?

Our mobile eyebrow technicians use a variety of methods including threading, waxing and tweezing. If you have a specific request please contact us directly so we can confirm your booking accordingly.

Do I need a patch test?

You do not need a patch test for eyelash extensions, as the glue will not touch your skin. However we do recommend having a patch test before tinting and lash lift treatments (including LVLs). Please let us know if this is your first tint or lash lift and we will be able to post you a patch test for you to use at least 48 hours ahead of your mobile lash treatment.

What eyelash extension brands do you use?

Each of our Brighton-based mobile lash technicians uses their preferred brand. These include Nouveau Lashes, Lash Perfect and Lash Emporium. If you have a specific request please let us know when you make your booking.

What’s the difference between a full set of eyelash extensions and infills?

A full set is where one extension is applied to every natural eyelash, giving a full, voluminous look. Infills are a follow-up treatment that we recommend booking every 2-3 weeks, where extensions are applied to any gaps where they have shed.

How long do I have to wait until I can get my eyelash extensions / lash lift wet?

You need to wait for between 24 and 48 hours before you can get your eyelashes wet after extensions or a lash lift (brand dependent).

Which areas in Brighton do you serve?

Our mobile lash and brow technicians will travel to addresses across Brighton, Hove, Portslade, Southwick, Lewes, Shoreham-by-Sea, Lancing, Steyning, Worthing, Godalming, Newhaven, Peacehaven, Hassocks and Henfield.

What are LVLs?

LVL stands for length, volume and lift and is a lash lift and tint treatment created by Nouveau Lashes.

The treatment straightens your natural eyelashes at the root, creating the effect of longer, lifted lashes. The lash tint blackens the lashes, producing a mascara-type effect. The results are immediate and they’ll stay that way for six to eight weeks.

How long do eyelash extensions / lash lift last?

Your eyelash extensions should look full for 2-3 weeks without maintenance. After this time your natural lashes will begin to shed and we recommend booking infills.

Your lash lift should last for 6-8 weeks, depending on your natural lash-shedding cycle.
