The process for events does differ from at-home bookings. Please see our FAQ’s below which outline how this process works.

What kind of events do Secret Spa do? 

We do lots of different events offering a wide range of treatments such as nails, chair massage and hair & makeup. In recent months we have been busy with events for well known brands including L’Oreal, Revlon, OPI and Sky Backstage at The O2.

Am I eligible for Secret Spa events?

We are regularly monitoring our booking stats to look at factors such as number of client bookings taken, punctuality, feedback, rebook rates and number of favourite requests. Those professionals who are taking a high volume of Secret Spa bookings per month and are receiving great feedback from our clients will receive priority on event bookings.

If an event client has a special requirement e.g nail art, this will always be detailed in the event opportunity message so please ensure you are only applying for events where you are confident in offering the treatment

When working with particular brands e.g OPI, you will only be put forward for these opportunities if you are part of their elite team and have had the relevant training. The location of the booking can also determine your eligibility.

Can I be put forward for events if I am new to Secret Spa? 

Yes, if you hit the ground running taking a good amount of at-home bookings with Secret Spa and get great feedback from clients, you will of course be put forward for these events.

How do event bookings work? 

We will send event opportunities out to our network via email with the full details and the fee for the event. The fee is determined on the nature of event, length of booking, location, and whether or not kit is provided. If you are available and interested in the job, you can then respond to the email to apply for the opportunity.

How do I apply?

To apply for an event opportunity, you will need to copy and paste the relevant statement and input your name along with the days you would like to be put forward for. Please do not apply for any opportunities if your availability is subject to change on that date. By applying you are confirming that you are available to take the booking. You will receive a response within 24 hours to confirm whether or not you have been booked for the job.

Example statement:  I ...Annie Abbott..... accept the terms and conditions as stated to work at the Sky Backstage - O2 Arena pre-show on Monday 2nd December from 4-8pm. 

*Please note, these opportunities are in high demand and we cannot guarantee you will be booked for all events that you apply for.

Do we have to allow extra time for set up? 

Yes! Where possible, we will let you know upfront what time you will need to arrive for set up. This is usually always 30 minuets prior to the start time of the event. This is to allow yourself enough time to arrive, introduce yourself to the relevant hosts, familiarise yourself with the venue and treatments on offer and to set up your stations.

How does payment for events work?

Payment for events will be made manually on the weekly Friday payment run. Every Friday all bookings are paid out up to the previous Friday. You will receive a direct transfer into your bank account
