How it works
Description
A gentle massage to reduce stress, address any particular areas of tension or pain and thoroughly relax any mothers-to-be. This massage is not recommended when in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Preparation
Create a space for your treatment somewhere quiet, warm and relaxing. Your therapist will bring a treatment bed roughly 6ft x 2ft. We ask that you provide your own towels for the treatment. You may wish to have a shower or bath beforehand to relax your muscles. For pregnancy massage we recommend undressing to your underwear with a robe on back-to-front as you are likely to be seated for some of your massage. Let your masseuse know your due date and if there are any particular areas of concern.
Restrictions
Unfortunately it is not possible to have a pregnancy massage during your first trimester. If you have any allergies, are taking medication, have any medical conditions or have had surgery in the past 6 months, please reach out to our concierge team via bookings@secretspa.co.uk to ensure your therapist can accommodate your treatment.
