How it started
Secret Spa was founded in 2015 by siblings Emily Ewart-Perks and Rider Latham who set out to change the way busy women get their beauty treatments. They wanted to offer a seamless booking platform for at-home appointments with trusted therapists. Emily was a working mother of two children under 3 years old. Working as the PR Director in a leading, luxury PR agency, it was important to her to look polished, but she didn’t have the time to go to the salon between the office and parenting. Expressing this struggle to Rider, they recognised the large gap in the industry that needed to be addressed...and Secret Spa was born.
