Our Story

Secret Spa was founded in 2015 by siblings Emily Ewart-Perks and Rider Latham who set out to change the way Londoners get their beauty treatments, offering a seamless booking platform for at-home, cashless beauty appointments with trusted therapists.

A recent mother of two, Emily found she could no longer keep up her salon visits without arranging childcare. Discussing with friends and family, it was clear that the brick-and-mortar salon was not working for them either: they struggled to fit their appointments into limited salon opening hours, had concerns over the quality of the treatments and therapists, and did not want the hassle of travelling home after certain treatments.

Rider left his job as a Strategy Consultant to take on the role of CEO and begin building the cutting-edge technology necessary to power the business, while Emily set about recruiting elite beauty therapists and establishing partnerships with leading beauty brands such as OPI, Sienna X and oskia.

Three years on, Secret Spa is relied on by famous faces and busy women across London; it has gained advocates such as Celia Walden (The Telegraph) and Sarah Jossel (Sunday Times Style) who praise the quality of the therapists and the devoted customer service team.

At its core is a strong family bond, that extends not just across the head office but also the entire network of therapists who enjoy the life-changing benefits of freelance work.
