What’s the difference between Gel Removal and Builder Gel Removal?
When booking a Gel Removal, please do so only if you’ve had a Gel Manicure or pedicure. For those who have had a Builder Gel treatment, be sure to book a Builder Gel Removal. This ensures our nail technicians bring the right tools for your appointment. If the incorrect treatment is booked, our therapist may not be able to perform the removal and you may still be charged. Thank you for helping us provide the best service possible.
How do I remove gel nails?
To remove your gel manicure or pedicure we recommend that you book professional Gel Removal with your next appointment. If you have Builder Gel or Bio Sculpture nail polish applied you can also book Builder Gel Removal or Bio Sculpture Gel removal to ensure the correct removal process to keep your nails strong and healthy.
How long will my manicure last?
A gel manicure can last up to three weeks, but it depends on how well you care for your nails. For our nail technicians' top tips read our guide on how to make your gel manicure last longer.
What manicure services do you offer?
Our mobile nail technicians offer a range of manicure services including Classic Manicures, Gel Manicures, Builder Gel Manicures and Bio Sculpture Manicures. You can also choose to add extras such as chrome, glitter, french tips, nail art & more to your manicure, or combine your manicure with a pedicure treatment.

Do I need to provide anything for the nail treatment?
Your mobile nail technician will bring everything required for your treatment to your home or hotel room; including tools and a range of 25+ nail colours to choose from. They will just require a comfortable place for you both to sit, a table to set up on and access to a plug socket for gel treatments. They may also require access to running water, but will inform you when they arrive.
What nail brands do you use?
Our mobile nail technicians carry a vast range of their preferred brands, including Bio Sculpture, Manucurist, O.P.I., CND Shellac, Gelish and The Gel Bottle amongst others; you may notify us of any special preferences so we can support you with your booking by contacting our Client Concierge Team at bookings@secretspa.co.uk or on 0207 096 0506. Once you've completed your treatment you can favourite your nail technician so you can easily rebook should you wish.
