About the treatment

Shaped to your preference

A bikini wax tidies the hair outside the knicker line for a clean finish that lasts two to six weeks, with the option to go further to a Brazilian or Hollywood. Your therapist shapes it to your preference, quickly and hygienically.

It happens in the privacy of your own home, so there is no waiting room and you get dressed in your own time afterwards.

FAQS

Want to know more?

What should I avoid after waxing?

For 24–48 hours after waxing, avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy workouts, sun exposure, and tight clothing. These can irritate freshly waxed skin. We’ll give you tailored aftercare advice during your mobile appointment to help keep your skin smooth and calm.

Which bikini wax should I book?

The wax you book depends on the amount of hair you’d like removed.

A High Bikini Wax involves removal of hair outside of the underwear line.

A Brazilian Wax removes almost all hair, leaving a small strip of hair on show.

A Hollywood Wax removes all hair.

What’s the difference between a Brazilian wax and a Hollywood wax?

A Brazilian Wax removes most hair from the front and underneath, leaving a small strip or shape at the front. A Hollywood Wax removes all hair from the front, back, and everything in between. Both styles are popular for a clean, smooth finish, and we offer both in the comfort of your home.

Alternatively, a High Bikini Wax will only remove hair from the sides of your bikini area.

Does waxing hurt?

Waxing can cause some discomfort, especially during your first treatment, but most clients find it very manageable. Our experienced mobile beauty therapists use professional techniques to minimise pain and ensure a smooth, quick service. Regular waxing also reduces sensitivity over time.

How long does hair need to be for waxing?

Hair should be at least ¼ inch long (about 6 mm) for wax to grip properly. If your hair is too short, the wax may not be effective. Our mobile beauty therapists can advise you on the best timing for your next wax to ensure the best results.

Do your therapists use hot wax?

Yes, depending on the treatments, some of our mobile waxing therapists use hot wax. If you have a special request for hot wax please detail this in your booking request or contact us directly so that we can ensure an appropriate therapist comes to you.

How do you vet your therapists?

All of our beauty therapists are hand-selected after a rigorous vetting process.

Each therapist is trade-tested, DBS checked (criminal record clearance) and chosen based on their qualifications and years of experience. So you can relax, knowing you’re in safe hands.

Can I have a wax and spray tan at the same time?

We don’t recommend getting a spray tan and waxing on the same day. For best results, you should wait at least 24 hours after waxing before having a spray tan.

Waxing removes the top layer of dead skin and opens your pores, which can cause the tan to develop unevenly or lead to skin irritation. If you have a spray tan first, waxing will strip away the colour. To get the smoothest skin and the most even glow, always wax first and spray tan later, with at least a 24-hour gap in between.
