A year in beauty: Secret Spa 2018 highlights

What could be more inspiring than starting the new year by looking back on the highlights of the last.  2018 was an exciting time for Secret Spa as we expanded our network of expert beauty professionals, range of luxury treatments and roster of celebrity clients.

We’ve done it all this year: from backstage hair and make-up at London Fashion Week, perfect pre-holiday spray tans, red carpet looks, bridal beauty, Christmas pamper parties and relaxation retreats.

We hope you enjoy looking back on our beauty highlights from 2018 as much as we have, with appearances from some of our favourite clients and celebrity fans.   Wishing you all a ‘beautytastic’ 2019, we can’t wait to see what it will bring.

JANUARY

We were the official beauty partner for the National TV Awards in January, hosting and getting some of our favourite celebrity clients ready for the red carpet.  For example the gorgeous Tallia Storm (left) who looked incredible with Secret Spa glam, wearing Dolce and Gabbana.

Beachy waves aren’t exclusive to summer,  just look at Fran Newman-Young (right) and her dreamy blow dry at the start of the year.

FEBRUARY

Why not celebrate your favourite ladies on Valentines Day like Lottie Moss and Tina Stines (left)?  This hot duo indulged in some Secret Spa pampering and girl time together on February the 14th, and look at those results!

We got the lovely Georgia Jones photoshoot ready for this adorable Hello! cover when the world met her bundle of joy Cooper.  What a hot Mama.

MARCH

In March, we celebrated Spring at Secret Spa with some glowing skin and make-up for Rhiannon Lambert (left), our favourite expert nutritionist.

TV and radio presenter Olivia Cox (right) continued this theme with her fabulous Fake Bake United spray tan and toned pins, seen here brightening up the streets of Chelsea.

APRIL

Could there be a more perfect pair of blue eyes to model our eyelash emporium lash extensions than those of the beautiful Emily Blackwell? (left) We love how she has paired hers with a metallic pink shadow for the ultimate colour pop, keeping the rest of her make-up pared down and simple.

Much the same could be argued for Alice Amelia Jeffrey (right) showing off the golden glow of her Secret Spa spray tan in the picturesque setting of Paris.

MAY

May was a red carpet month for Secret Spa, as we got so many of our celebrity clients ready for the The Brits and the BAFTAS.  Here are two of our favourites, the gorgeous Portia Oduba (left) backstage at the BAFTAS bronzed to perfection with her Secret Spa spray tan. Kelly Eastwood (aka The London Chatter, right) looked stunning wearing Temperley and make-up by us to The Brits.

JUNE

Summer arrived in Secret Spa HQ with a pop of colour in the form of baby pink manicures for the wonderful Rosie Fortescue’s jewellery brand (left).    Perfectly complimenting the abstract shapes of the jewellery, and pastel make-up tones, we loved being a part of this incredible shoot.

Sophie Stanbury (right) looked divine in a Secret Spa spray tan and nails as she was whisked off to races wearing Dolce and Gabbana.  What a hat!

JULY

What better time to have fun with your make-up than at your “Kid-chella” themed party?! We loved bringing a little festival flair to Binky’s look (left) brought to life on a flawless base of tanned and healthy skin.

Tabitha Willett (right) on the other hand was channelling some mid-summer heat with her Secret Spa smokey eye and bombshell pink lips.

AUGUST

What’s the secret to looking as good as Vogue Williams (left) when pregnant?  We’re pretty sure the answer is awesome genes, exercise, and Secret Spa hair and make-up.  Preparing for your little one is the perfect time to treat yourself and we now offer pregnancy massages too!

We love the fact that Stephanie Pratt is sporting her Secret Spa spray tan (right), but to be honest it’s those incredible abs we can’t stop looking at!

SEPTEMBER

September for Secret Spa was all about one thing, London Fashion Week.  From rushing around London to get all our celebrity clients ready for the shows, to working directly with brands backstage, we loved every minute!

Here is Cailin Russo (left) LFW ready, with hair and make-up by Secret Spa.  We love her adventurous pop of colour on the eye and sexy, beachy blow-dry.

It was a complete delight to work on the beauty looks backstage with one of our favourite fashion brands, Rixo (right).  We matched heavenly vintage inspired prints and dresses with natural glowing complexions (courtesy of Kiehls) with barely there make-up (glossier) and 80s slogan nails.

OCTOBER

Autumn came and brought with it some wonderful jobs with some of our favourite clients.  Alexandra Tolstoy (left) started what was to become a signature look with her Secret Spa Dutch braids, and we love seeing how these have evolved!

Getting Pips Taylor and Zoe Hardman ready for the Marie Claire Future Shapers Awards was of course another highlight.  Look how gorgeous they look, and we love their bold make-up and hair choices.

NOVEMBER

Front Row, the wonderful designer rental brand, had us do hair and make-up on their beautiful models backstage at their shoot.  It was a dream to work with such incredible clothes and models, and we love the looks we created (left).

A natural holiday tan for pop Queen Mollie King was a definite highlight of the year, look at her glow!

DECEMBER

December came with a flurry of Christmas pamper parties and festive gatherings.  We had so many highlights during this joyful month, but seeing Lilah Parsons’ (right) incredible Secret Spa looks flowing through the Christmas period was certainly one of them.

The perfect end to the year had to be doing the bridal beauty for Laura Wright as she married the man of her dreams (left).  What a wedding, what a bride!  The whole day was incredibly special and we were so happy to be a part of it.
